Wheels and Rims for 2009 Acura RL

The 2009 Acura RL is the flagship of Acura, Honda's luxury brand. New for the 2009 model year is a 3.7-liter VTEC V-6 that produces 300-horsepower with 275 lb-ft of torque. This engine is matted to a five-speed automatic transmission that allows shifting by using either wheel-mounted paddle shifters or the console mounted gear selector. The EPA fuel-economy ratings are 15 mpg city and 22 mpg highway. Improved for 2009 Acura's Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) uses torque vectoring allow the RL to handle turns better, while reducing understeer and providing an overall improvement in cornering and handling performance. improvements in the RL's fully independent suspension, include higher-rate coil springs , larger-diameter stabilizer bars, and improved steering-rack components. Combined with the SH-AWD these improvements make the RL very much a driver's car. For 2009 the RL is offered in eight colors, of which five are new featuring an improved pearl paint pigment process. Interior improvements to the RL include 10-way adjustable seats for both the driver and front passenger, added leg room the rear passengers, an improved climate control system and a redesigned ventilation system. Other standard features include a 10-speaker Bose sound system, a Hand Free Link system, USB port and a keyless entry & start system. Standard tires are Michelin Pilot HX P245/45R18 mounted on 18-inch seven-spoke alloy rims.
